The 12th International Reversed Field Pinch Workshop is organized as part of the activity under the International Energy Agency (IEA) implimenting agreement for a Program of Research and Development on the Reversed Field Pinch (RFP).
The workshop will be held March 26-28, 2007 in the University Laboratories for Innovation Research Projects on the Kyoto Institute of Technology campus, Kyoto, Japan.
This workshop is being organized by the Plasma Physics Laboratory at
Kyoto Institute of Technology.
Researchers from around the world will gather to discuss general RFP physics, active MHD control issues, auxiliary heating, current drive and steady state operation, innovative concepts with relevance for the RFP, and so on.
Participation from non-RFP groups is strongly encouraged.
This meeting is the 12th in a series of international workshops.
